Flickr user rd07 has posted a huge Flickr photo set of a 7-11 in Burbank, CA that was outfitted to look like a Kwik-E-Mart to promote the new Simpsons movie. How awesome is this?? Answer: it is very, very awesome. The last sentence of the set's description is great too: "All photos taken by my wife while she had a Squishee."
My only question now is: why didn't other movie studios do this? Where was the Ford dealership with the trophy Mustang on the corner of the lot that was outfitted to transform every 30 seconds? Or the shopping mall outfitted with a plank and a full complement of cannons on either side of the building? The possibilities are endless!
